McKayla Stewart

Hi! I’m McKayla

I’m a wife, mama to a sweet little boy, and Disney-loving travel advisor who believes the best memories are often found in the smallest moments. My husband and I have been together for over a decade, and Disney has been woven into our story from the very beginning. I’ve experienced Disney before kids, twice while pregnant, and now several times with my own little one — and I especially love helping families in the baby and toddler years plan trips that feel realistic, well-paced, and full of magic for this season of life.

Favorite Travel Memory:

My ultimate favorite memory is on the Disney Wish.

We were at rotational dining at Arendelle, and at the end of the meal everyone was singing and waving their cloth napkins in the air — servers, guests, the whole restaurant dancing together. I can still see the look on my son’s face as he waved his napkin with the BIGGEST smile, laughing and completely in the moment. I will truly never forget it.

Another favorite memory is watching him meet characters. He wants to meet them all. Turning the corner and seeing them for the first time (or even the tenth time), he gets so excited — hugging them, high-fiving them, completely in awe that they are standing right in front of him. There’s nothing better than seeing that kind of joy

My Best Travel Advice:

Don’t overload your schedule — especially when traveling with little ones.

You truly won’t accomplish everything in one trip, and that’s okay. Choose your must-haves and let everything beyond that feel like extra magic.

And plan your days around your child’s rhythm, not against it. If your little one struggles to nap on the go, build in a midday break. My son is not one to fall asleep in the stroller, so we always head back to the resort for a nap, downtime, or even a swim. That reset makes all the difference.

No one wants an overstimulated toddler by day three of vacation. A little rest in the middle of the day often means more joy (and far fewer meltdowns) later on.

When I am not planning trips you can find me:

Spending time with my family — or if it were up to my kiddo, at Disney all the time. He asks almost every day when we’re going back to the airport to see Mickey and Goofy, and honestly… I’m usually wondering the same thing.
